  • Strong overall revenue growth of 4%
  • Adjusted EBITDA for Group increased from 27.4 million (2022) to €30.9 million
  • Improved profitability margins and customer value creation

Amsterdam, May 1, 2024 – Infront, the European market leader in financial market data solutions, published its annual report of 2023. Despite last year's challenging business environment, Infront drove an overall growth of 4%, with an increase in adjusted EBITDA from €27.4 million in 2022 to €30.9 million in 2023. Fundamental to this growth is an improvement of profitability margins as well as a relentless focus on delivering value and performance for customers. Growth was achieved by product offering enhancements and improved product delivery efficiency.

Financial and commercial growth

Infront’s operating revenue increased by 4% to €128.6 million in 2023. Most of this revenue was generated by recurring subscription contracts, as well as volume-based revenue derived from long-term customer contracts. Infront's core product categories showed revenue growth of 7%, representing 75% of the total revenue compared to last year, growth being a combination of organic growth and M&A.

Zlatko Vucetic, CEO at Infront: “I am pleased that our Group improved its operational performance in 2023. We could not have wished for better results in a milestone year that marks our 25th anniversary. We have delivered against our core objectives to grow the business in a way that is sustainable, both for future commercial success and for the planet. I sincerely appreciate the trust of our customers during this journey and all the effort that our teams have put in to realizing these goals.”

Product and brand development

Infont’s growth can partly be traced back to product development. In 2023 Infront strengthened its position with the introduction of a new wealth portal offering wealth managers state-of-the-art client engagement across portfolio management solutions. Additionally, the launch of the new Data Manager API, which delivers cost-efficient customizable data feeds with API access to the Infront data infrastructure, enhanced the company’s product offering and drove further efficiency in delivering their products to the market.

Successful repositioning of WealthTech

Infront relaunched its brand in April 2023 to match its growing ambitions as the leading European provider of WealthTech services. The relaunch strongly articulates Infront’s offering to the wealth management and brokerage spaces through a variety of activities in the financial media and Infront’s own channels.

According to Vucetic: “With the help of our fully integrated development teams and selected nearshoring partners we were able to give our product portfolio an extra boost. This allowed the business to profit from a strong and competitive product portfolio ensuring our position as a leading European provider of WealthTech Services. To match this ambition, we revitalized the external look and feel of the Infront brand. Based on input from across the entire organization, we redefined the values that determine our ways of working through the notions of Engagement, Communication and Recognition. Also, we intensified our sustainability and governance commitments through multiple ESG initiatives that can be found in our annual report.”
