MOBY Bikes takes over ex GreenMo customers in Holland

MOBY Bikes, which launched in Ireland in early 2020 and operates several bike sharing schemes here, has acquired the assets of Mechs BV, previously Greenmo BV.

Dublin, August 10th 2023 – MOBY, the Ireland-based mobility company that has also been operating electric delivery bikes in the Netherlands for some time, has announced that it is taking over the customers of Mechs BV. Mechs is the company that would take on the rental and maintenance of delivery vehicles through the relaunch of GreenMo.

Moby manages electric delivery bike fleets internationally for companies like Gorillas, Just Eat Takeaway, Domino's Pizza and Laundry Heap in territories like the UK, Holland, Belgium, Croatia and the USA and sees this as a great addition to its delivery bike division. MOBY is also active in providing e-bikes employee schemes to corporates and hotels across Europe.

Helping customers is top priority
Last Friday Mechs went bankrupt. As a final service to customers, the company sought a solution to continue vehicle service and maintenance. That solution was found in the Irish based and founded mobility company MOBY, which immediately took over all operations, vehicles and contracts from Mechs. Helping customers is now top priority for MOBY.

Originally from Ireland, MOBY provides e-vehicles to customers on an “as a service” basis. The range includes eBikes, eScooters, electric cargo bikes and 4-wheelers. MOBY claims to have one of the highest uptimes in the industry globally.
